MY STORY

My name is Robert and I am responsible for commercial management, the Business Intelligence department as well as company-wide processes. I actually wanted to set up my own business straight after finishing my studies, but didn't really know exactly what I wanted to do, before I initially joined joblocal as an “Entrepreneur in Residence” in order to learn the tools of the trade from the founders Dominic and Sebastian. This was back in March 2014. My original plan was to see how it went at joblocal for 6 months or so, but those 6 months have since turned into five years. The learning curve here has never flattened out during this period and, despite the various highs and lows, we have always continued in an upward trajectory. And my journey here at joblocal is still far from over, I’m enjoying being part of the success story here.

MY EVERYDAY TASKS AT JOBLOCAL

If I had to explain to a child what my position at joblocal involved, I guess I'd have to say it involves making sure that we've all got something to eat and are also able to play a few games every now and then too ;-). Apart from all this fun, our actual priority is to develop our growth drivers and KPIs, which we keep track of in Excel and similar programs.

What helps me with these tasks is to have an openness towards new challenges, along with analytical skills, the ability to find solutions and communication skills.
