DEVELOPMENT .
The Product Owners are fully responsible within the Product Development team for a sub-division or a sub-product. They act as the central point for feedback on existing products, are responsible for prioritising product enhancements or new features and take into account any customer requirements, market developments and, of course, the company’s own objectives.
In doing so, the Product Owner is able to develop an outstanding understanding of our target customers inside and out, thus ensuring that the current as well as future requirements of our customers are incorporated into our product vision.
Our Product Service Centre (PSC) works in close collaboration with the Product Owners and bundles together any product feedback from our customer areas (end customers, licensed customers as well as internal employee feedback). The PSC therefore acts as a central communication interface in both directions, always pursuing the objective of ensuring each of our products can be operated and used in an efficient manner.

MY STORY
My name is Raphi and I work in Product Development. I discovered joblocal via rosenheimJOBS.de when I was looking for a job as a working student. Back then, there was a working student position in online marketing advertised, which I took the opportunity to apply for. I've since been working for joblocal for more than four years.MY EVERYDAY TASKS AT JOBLOCAL
My current job is to gather together ideas as to how we can make our product better so that more people will want to use it. Above all, you need to have a passion for coming up with new ideas and features in order to shape and further improve the product for our users. Having a basic technical understanding of software development and being able to work according to the SCRUM principle are useful too.
MY ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHTS WORKING FOR JOBLOCAL
A highlight for me is the fact that I have been able to learn a great deal about all kinds of different areas in the four years that I have been here. I’m also impressed by the cohesion in the team as well as the many amazing quarterly parties we have ;-). For me personally, joblocal can be summed up in these three words: cool, modern and teamwork
WHAT’S IT LIKE WORKING WITH ME
I’m always up for a Weißwurst breakfast in the DEV team. I also need a lot of freedom in my work and enjoy having my independence, including from my own team colleagues.

MY STORY
My name is Susanne and I work in the Product Service Centre. In other words, I’m responsible as the first point of contact for any queries related to our product that our customers are concerned about. I applied for a job via rosenheimjobs.de six years ago. I’d just moved to Bavaria and was pleased that there was an option to apply for regional jobs via a portal, as I didn’t know anything about the area at all.MY EVERYDAY TASKS AT JOBLOCAL
In order to be able to do my job in an energetic and fun manner, and also be effective too, it's essential to enjoy dealing with people. However, I also need to be able to deal with criticism, work with a focus on solutions and enjoy thinking outside the box. Put quite simply, I’m a living, breathing instruction manual! Everybody plays with Lego, for example, and wants to know “Can you colour the brick in pink and give it wings?" Here at joblocal, it's always a highlight when we open up new portals or gain new partners and help them get off to a successful start with their platform. For me, another joblocal highlight is without doubt every single party or event, because everyone comes along to them and we all have a really relaxed and fun time together. At lunchtime, I always like to get out of the office and see if there is something going on in the market square, as is the case at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich, for example. We talk and cook together, everyone enjoys having a chat. I’ve not experienced that in any other company before. For me personally, joblocal can be summed up in three words: modern, open and innovative.

My colleagues will generally come up to me as I am always happy to listen to them and I enjoy having a laugh. On the other hand, I’m also a rather ironic and direct individual and will happy tell everyone what I think about certain things – sometimes that can of course be a little tricky!
MY DREAM CAREER AND WHAT BECAME OF IT
When I was at school, I was absolutely certain that I didn't want to work in an office, but would rather be on the move all the time when I was at work. It didn't quite happen that way, but looking back I’m really pleased that joblocal gave me the opportunity to work part-time in the office as a working mother.
WHO WOULD I REALLY LIKE TO SWAP JOBS WITH
I would really love to spend a day as one of the Managing Directors in our company. Secondly, I’d love to have the opportunity to embark on an internship in Marketing and get a closer look at the work Hannes does.
WHAT WOULD I SAY TO MY 16-YEAR-OLD SELF
I'd really encourage myself to go and travel abroad more, that's something I haven't really done. And languages are really important too, I’m not quite up to speed in that area.
